GOLDEN JUBILEE - 9th ENTRY


            Ninth Entry joined Cadet College Hasanabdal on 28 April 1962 and decided to organize a two day Golden Jubilee on 28-29 April 2012. By the Grace of Allah, celebrations turned out to be a grand success because of whole hearted participation by all ‘Niners’ and their families (in all over 150, including faculty, attended). Hats off to those who traveled from Canada, USA, Saudi Arabia, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Hasanabdal and Wah Cantt to join the crowd from Islamabad and Rawalpindi. 

          From the faculty Prof M A Bokhari, Prof Mehboob Alam, Prof Shahid Shamsi, Prof Misbah, Prof Faqeer, Prof Hasnain, Prof Asif Malik (Principal), Prof Qayyum (VP), Prof Saggu (VP Coord), daughter of Prof N A Beg and son of Prof Asim Khurshid attended. HOBA was represented by Capt (R) Nayyar Islam and Dr Faisal Manzoor.

On 28th it was gup shup in very picturesque surroundings of Rawalpindi Golf Club, pleasant weather and excellent company of friends. Fateha was offered for departed friends and teachers. A resume was presented by the coordinator of the event, Noor ud din Ahmed. Principal CCH also addressed the audience. This was followed by sumptuous dinner with live BBQ and some light live music. Golden Jubilee cake was cut by Prof Bokhari. On 29th a visit to the College made the day memorable. Wreath laying at Shuhada Monument and visiting the class rooms, dormitories and sports grounds etc were the highlights. A limited over cricket match was also played in the Oval between current faculty and Niners. Finale was lunch in Khatlani Hall after the ‘gong’ had been sounded for 5 mins. Souvenirs were distributed on the occasion and a magazine is under print to mark the celebrations.

 

 Brig (R) Noor ud Din Ahmed Laying A Wreath At Shuhada Monument On The Occasion Of The Golden Jubilee Celebrations Of 9th Entry (28 April to 29 April 2012).

Brig Noor ud Din has worked and crafted the events of the celebrations of Golden Jubilee of 9th Entry and was well supported by his entry mates as well. This Golden Jubilee was celebrated with reference to their date of joining Cadet College Hasanabdal.

Registration Upon Website

The Contents of the directory have been updated up till 52nd Entry. Our community is very slow in sending their updated addresses. Therefore, an option for editing your data is provided now.

In the present procedure of registration an automatic email is generated to ensure immediate registration. However this system has created security breaches as very many non-Abdalians have also joined the list of the members registered on the website. 

In view of above the procedure has been changed. Now, as the Entry listing up till 52nd Entry is available on site, the request for registration shall only be accepted once the Name and the Kit No of the Abdalian is acknowledged by the system. Moreover instead of automatic registration, now as soon as the request is generated, the administrator shall first of all confirm the correctness of data and then he shall send an email to the applicant regarding the acceptance of his request.

Therefore the previous registrations on the website are deleted and you are requested to please re register yourselves so that the list of the registered Abdalians is properly filtered and maintained accurately.
